The Trinity Beanie Crochet Pattern has such great texture! This beanie uses the Trinity stitch (stitch video tutorial included) and the half double crochet in the third loop to create this look.

H/5.0 mm hook

TRINITY BEANIE CROCHET PATTERN
Make a magic ring
Round 1: ch 2, 8 hdc in ring, join to first hdc with sl st (8 hdc)
Round 2: ch 2, turn, 2 hdc in each stitch around, join to first hdc with sl st (16 hdc)
Round 3: ch 2, turn, *hdc in 1 stitch, 2 hdc in next* repeat from * to * around, join to first hdc with sl st (24 hdc)
Round 4: ch 2, turn, *hdc in 2 stitches, 2 hdc in next* repeat from * to * around, join to first hdc with sl st (32 hdc)
Round 5: ch 2, turn, *hdc in 3 stitches, 2 hdc in next* repeat from * to * around, join to first hdc with sl st (40 hdc)
Round 6: ch 2, turn, *hdc in 4 stitches, 2 hdc in next* repeat from * to * around, join to first hdc with sl st (48 hdc)
Round 7: ch 2, turn, *hdc in 5 stitches, 2 hdc in next* repeat from * to * around, join to first hdc with sl st (56 hdc)
Crown diameter is approx 5.5”
To adjust sizing, add or take out increase rounds
Round 8: ch 2, turn, hdc TL in each stitch around, join to first hdc with sl st (56 hdc)
Do not turn in next 3 rounds
Round 9: ch 2, hdc TL in each stitch around, join to first hdc with sl st (56 hdc)

I am confused. After round 8 it says not to turn for next 3 rounds. Should round 8 be one of those rounds that isn’t turned because there are only 2 rounds before the trinity stitch starts.
