It’s time for part 2 of our Sweater Crochet Along! Thank you so much for joining me in making this sweater. In part 2 we’ll be making the front panel of the sweater. You’ll find it’s much easier than the back panel! The pattern for the back panel was part 1 of this CAL (you can find Part 1 of the CAL HERE). 3 – 6 skeins Caron Simply Soft in Grey Heather (category 4 yarn, 750 – 1,500 yds)
5.0 mm hook
Scissors

FRONT PANEL
NOTE: The front panel will be wider than the back because there aren’t any ch stitches. Once both panels are sewn together you won’t notice. Both pieces could also be wet blocked to be the same size.
Ch 9
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from the hook and across (8 sc)
Row 2: ch 1, turn, sc blo in each stitch across (8 dc blo)
Repeat row 2 to row 65, (71), [77], {83}, <89> Or until it’s the same width as the back
Row 1: Ch 1, turn, sc across the band, 1 sc in each row (65, (71), [77], {83}, <89>)
Row 2: ch 3, turn, dc in each stitch across (65, (71), [77], {83}, <89>)
Repeat row 2 to row 33, (39), [45], {51}, <57> or until it’s the same length of the back panel
Fasten off, weave in the ends.
