  1. Hi, I’m really loving the scrapghan and all the new stitches! However, I was wondering if you could tell us when to change colors. I’ve been doing single colors, unless indicated (like in the first week). This week is more important to vary the colors, but am still kinda new at this and not sure which rows make the most sense to change. If you could share what rows you changed colors, that would be super helpful. Thanks!

      1. Hi, HELP!!!!
So I have 121 stitches ended from part 5 (lemon peel stitch), after doing all the part 6 (spike stitch) I somehow ended up with 161 stitches. So somehow I added 40 stitches!!! I have no clue how I added those. It looks good still and doesn’t seem to look different except when I started doing the butterfly stitch, everything didn’t add up and doesn’t look like a butterfly due to the 40 stitches. I’m assuming my best bet is to take everything out and restart the spike stitch? What are your thoughts??? Thank you!

        1. Hi! Yes, I think you’ll need to redo the spike stitch. My guess is that you added stitches in the spike stitch rows. When you did the 3 spike stitches you might have also sc in the stitch (resulting in 2 stitches in 1), if that makes sense

          1. Yeah I understand. It’s hard to see with this stitch where the new row down is. I will try again! Thank you for the quick response, I am having a great time with the fun stitches!

  2. On the spike stitch row, it says to do the first sc in the “next” stitch. However, the video tutorial shows it starting in the same stitch as the ch 1. Should the first sc be done in the first stitch space or the next stitch space? Thanks!

    1. Through math, I figured out the first stitch would go in same space as beginning ch 1. That “next stitch” was confusing without doing the math for me. Fyi. : )
