  1. You are my favourite source of beanies and help inspire me to continue making them for the kids in hospitals undergoing oncology treatments! I love your detailed tutorials too!

  2. Thank you, Breann, for the inspirational patterns in your summer CAL. My friend and I have challenged each other to make ten beanies a month for our church group to give away to the homeless, school children, cancer patients, and our preschool children. I needed a new idea. Love these CAL ‘s!

  3. What other yarn could use? I don’t have one craft store where I live and they don’t have a great selection.

    1. Breann, thank you so much for these patterns! I give alot of these out! I love having different styles & sizes on hand! Sometimes depending on the need I pair them up with a scarf or even a lapghan.
I’m on a limited income, but I get alot of varieties of yarn given to me. So with the yarn & your free patterns I get to help alot of people!! God bless! Oh & I get to learn new stitches!! Last year my hubby & I gave out about 40! Hoping to do more this year!

  4. First hat complete! Thanks for the great and easy to follow instructions! This will be going to a local school with a population of students in need.

  5. Thank for the hat pattern.
I will use this for people in Anderson South Carolina who don’t have money to get a hat in the winter.
    Thank you

  6. I just made up this hat to add to my crochet projects. Thank you so much for this pattern: It is well-written and accurate. I enjoyed learning a new textured stitch, as well.

I’m using up stash yarn, so I doubled up some Loops & Threads Woolike, and used a 4.5mm hook. This was still a bit small, so I added a few increase rounds to the crown, and one double-crochet round to the length of the hat.

Thank you so much for offering this pattern to use for charity. I think someone will appreciate this good-looking hat!

    1. I love it! My first successful hat! The other back loop method I’ve tried, just not working for me. Thanks so much! I love the final look!

  7. What’s the difference between this half ring stitch & a yarn over slip stitch? Am i missing a step in the half ring stitch?
(More likely than i want to admit, lol) 🤦🏼‍♀️💕

      1. i have found instructions for patterns that do not state how many to begin with.
        Just an FYI Thank you
