The Picnic Poncho Crochet Pattern is made as one piece with very little sewing. Because of the DK weight yarn and the open stitch design, it’s perfect for your summer picnic or as a swim suit cover.
There are so many ways to style this poncho. I decided to use patriotic colors for the summer holidays and paired with cut offs and my swim suit. It could be worn over a tank, with a bralette, or just as a swim suit cover. I used cotton DK but acrylic DK would work fine, too. You might not want to get it wet, though.
