Pebble Ear Warmer Crochet Pattern

This Pebble Ear Warmer Crochet Pattern uses one of my favorite stitches, the Pebble Stitch! I love this stitch paired with a super bulky yarn. It makes for a fun, textured, thick ear warmer.

Lion Brand Thick & Quick (any super bulky weight yarn will work)
N/9.0 mm hook
yarn needle
scissors

Pattern notes & stitches to know
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
foundation sc (video below)
puff stitch – *yarn over, insert hook into stitch, pull up a loop the height of a dc* repeat 2 more times, yarn over and pull through all 7 loops on hook

· This ear warmer is worked in turned rounds.

PEBBLE EAR WARMER CROCHET PATTERN

ch 2

Row 1: starting in the 2nd ch from the hook, work 40 foundation sc (or ch 41, starting in the 2nd ch from the hook sc across), join to first sc with sl st (40 sc)

You are now working in rounds. Use the starting end to sew the beginning closed.

Round 2: ch 1, turn, *sc, puff stitch in next* repeat from * to * around, join to first sc with sl st (40)

Round 3: ch 1, turn, sc in each stitch around, join to first sc with sl st (40 sc)

Round 4: ch 1, turn, *puff stitch, sc in next* repeat from * to * around, join to first puff stitch with sl st (40)

Round 5: ch 1, turn, sc in each stitch around, join to first sc with sl st (40 sc)

Round 6: repeat round 2

Round 7: repeat round 3

Fasten off. Weave in the ends.
