Patriotic Bucket Hat Crochet Pattern

June 4, 2024

Attention all crafters and patriots! The Patriotic Bucket Hat Crochet Pattern is a toddler size hat that will be so fun for their summer parties and barbecues! It’s made of cotton yarn, with a slightly flared brim for having fun in the sun. This hat can easily be adjusted and made in a different size, see the Pattern Notes section for tips on how to do this.

For this pattern I used I Love This Cotton Yarn from Hobby Lobby. It’s a worsted weight, cotton yarn that is perfect for summer accessories! Any worsted weight yarn (cotton or acrylic) would work great for this pattern. This pattern can be made with any combination of colors for year-round wear, too.

  1. Hi Breann Thank you. I love this! I’m from South Africa and my eldest son just married an American girl. This will be a perfect gift for my new daughter-in-law. Hannah is gonna love this. I’m also gonna try it in our flag colours🇿🇦Just a question round 1 @ hat top. Are you using sc or dc row? I notice at the corners you wrote sc2tog?
