For this scarf I used a bulky weight (5) acrylic yarn, Brava Bulky from WeCrochet. This is an affordable, acrylic yarn. It’s soft and comes in so many great colors. Any bulky weight yarn (acrylic, cotton, or wool) would work for this pattern.
This scarf uses just one basic crochet stitch, half double crochet. By alternating the front loop and back loop only, it creates this beautifully textured fabric. With the combination of bulky yarn and simple stitches, this oversized scarf works up in no time!
