Materials
50g  Dishie total in Linen & Inlet (any worsted weight cotton or acrylic would work)
G/4.0 mm hook
yarn needle
scissors

BASKET BASE

Starting with the main color, make a magic ring

Round 1: ch 2, 10 dc in ring, pull ring closed tight, join to first dc with sl st (10 dc)

Round 2: ch 2, 2 dc in each stitch around, join to first dc with sl st (20 dc)

Round 3: ch 2, *dc, 2 dc in next stitch* repeat from * to * around, join to first dc with sl st (30 dc)

Round 4: ch 2, *dc in 2 stitches, 2 dc in next* repeat from * to * around, join to first dc with sl st (40 dc)

Round 5: ch 2, *dc in 3 stitches, 2 dc in next* repeat from * to * around, join to first dc with sl st (50 dc)

Round 6: ch 2, *dc in 4 stitches, 2 dc in next* repeat from * to * around, join to first dc with sl st (60 dc)

The mosaic crochet pattern begins in the next round. Change to secondary color for next round. Then continue changing colors every round. Do not fasten off each round. Carry the yarn.

Round 7: ch 1, 2 sc blo in first stitch, sc blo in each stitch around to last, 2 sc blo in last stitch, join to first sc with sl st (62)

Round 8: ch 1, 2 sc blo in first stitch, *sc blo in 2 stitches, ldc flo in next, sc blo in next 2 stitches* repeat from * to * around to last stitch, 2 sc blo in last stitch, join to first sc with sl st (64)

Round 9: ch 1, 2 sc blo in first stitch, sc blo in next, ldc flo in next, sc blo in next 3 stitches, *ldc flo in next 2, sc blo in next 3 stitches* repeat from * to * around to last 3 stitches, ldc flo in next, sc blo in next, 2 sc blo in last, join to first sc with sl st (66)

Round 10: ch 1, 2 sc blo in first stitch, sc blo in next 3 stitches, *ldc flo, sc blo in next, ldc flo in next, sc blo in next 2* repeat from * to * around to last 2 stitches, sc blo in next, 2 sc blo in last, join to first sc with sl st (68)

Round 14: ch 1, 2 sc blo in first stitch, sc blo in next 8 stitches, *ldc flo in next, sc blo in next 4 stitches* repeat from * to * around to last 5 stitches, sc blo in next 4 stitches, 2 sc blo in last, join to first sc with sl st (76)

Round 15: ch 1, 2 sc blo, sc blo in next 7 stitches, ldc flo in next, sc blo in next 3 stitches, *ldc flo in next 2, sc blo in next 3 stitches* repeat from * to * around to the last 9 stitches, ldc flo in next, sc blo in next 7 stitches, 2 sc blo in last, join to last sc with sl st (78)

Join the main color and continue with only the main color for the remainder of the pattern

Round 16: ch 1, 2 sc in first stitch, sc in each stitch around to last stitch, 2 sc in last, join to first sc with sl st (80)

Round 17: ch 1, 2 sc in first stitch, sc in next 17 stitches, sc2tog 22 times, sc in next 17 stitches, 2 sc in last (60)

Round 18: ch 1, 2 sc in first stitch, sc in each stitch around to last stitch, 2 sc in last, join to first sc with sl st, to make the hanging loop, ch 10, sl st to first st  (62)

Fasten off. Weave in the ends
