For this cami I used a new yarn from Lion Brand called Truboo. It’s a DK weight bamboo yarn that has such beautiful drape. But any DK weight yarn would work for this tank top!

Materials
Lion Brand Truboo (2 skeins for S/M/L, 3 skeins for XL/2X/3X)
G/4.0 mm hook
yarn needle
scissors

Pattern notes & stitches to know
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
sc – single crochet
V Stitch – (dc, ch 3, dc) all in one stitch
shell – ((dc, ch 1) 4 times + dc) all in one stitch
· ch 3 counts as dc
· ch 4 counts as dc + ch 1
· This tank is made as a rectangle and then sewn up the side to make a tube. Then the neckline and straps are added.
· Gauge: 4 shells x 8 rows of the pattern repeat = approx 4” x 4”
Sizes:
S, M, L, XL, 2X, 3X – The pattern is written in these sizes consecutively. Example, when the pattern gives the ch amount (141, 161, 181, 201, 221, 241) the 141 is for S, 161 is M, 181 is L, 201 is XL, 221 is 2X, 241 is 3X.
This cami is very close fitting with negative ease.

Length (measured from bottom of the neckline of bust down):
S (13.5”) M (14.5”) L (15.5”) XL (16.5”) 2X (17.5”) 3X (18.5”)

LACE CAMI CROCHET PATTERN
ch 141, 161, 181, 201, 221, 241
Row 1: V stitch in 8th chain from the hook, *ch 1, skip 4 stitches, V stitch in next* repeat from * to * to last 3 ch, skip 2, ch 1, dc in last chain (27, 31, 35, 39, 43, 47 V stitches)
Row 2: ch 3, turn, shell in each ch 3 space across to the last v stitch, skip ch 1, dc into next chain (27, 31, 35, 39, 43, 47 shells)
Row 3: ch 4, turn *v stitch in 3rd dc of next shell, ch 1* repeat from * to * to last shell, dc in top of ch 3 from previous round (27, 31, 35, 39, 43, 47 V stitches)
Repeat row 2 & 3 to Row 29, 31, 33, 35, 37, 39 (27, 31, 35, 39, 43, 47 V stitches)
Or until desired length.
Bring both ends together and sew it closed with a whip stitch.
Fasten off. Weave in the ends.
The neckline is created in the next section
Lay the tube with the seam on the side. Join yarn in the left double crochet of the V stitch approx 2.5”, 3.5”, 4.5”, 5.5”, 6.5”, 7.5”, 8.5” from the right.
Row 1: ch 1, sc in same stitch, shell in next 3 V stitches, dc in next dc (3 shells)
Row 2: ch 3, turn, sl st to 3rd dc in first shell, ch 4, V stitch in 3rd dc of next shell, ch 1, dc in 3rd dc of last shell (1 V stitch)
Row 3: ch 3, turn, shell in V stitch, dc in ch 3 from previous row (1 shell)
Row 4: ch 3, turn, sc in 3rd dc of shell, ch 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60 (this is the strap), sl st to the back of the top (the strap ch can be any length)
Fasten off.
Weave in the ends.
Rejoin yarn 3 double crochets to the left of the first side of the neckline.
Repeat the neckline pattern.
