Do you love Lion Brand Homespun yarn? But HATE crocheting with it? Me, too! It’s so hard to see where your stitches are versus the bumps in the yarn. That’s why I made this Homespun Crochet Infinity Scarf Pattern. It makes crocheting with Homespun yarn easy. I used a couple tricks to help make crocheting with this super fluffy yarn easier. One: I used a larger hook than recommended and Two: I used stitches that require the hook to be inserted in a chain space (instead of the top two loops). This scarf is SO easy and you will be able to make it in an afternoon. This is great for gift giving! Wrap up the coziest scarves for your friends and family this holiday season.

why can’t I print the patterns. They are super cute and the ads for PDF apps to be installed are very annoying and don’t work. Help, please!
Hi! I don’t have a PDF for this pattern. Just the blog post
I’m trying to make this scarf and it is curling on me. Will it straighten out in the end or am I doing something wrong?
Hi! I don’t remember it curling. When doing the ch stitch, make sure to keep it loose. That might help 🙂 Also, once it’s sewn you probably won’t be able to tell.
Hi there. Could this be made by slip stitching the chain together instead of sewing at the end? If so would you recommend turning at the end of round to get the texture in the photo? This is a beautiful scarf.
Hi! Yes I would turn every round 🙂
Hello….Can you tell me if the scarf used up the entire skein of yarn? I want to incorporate some eyelash yarn and wanted to get an idea of how many yards/skeins I will need. Thanks!
Hi! Yes, I used the entire skein 🙂
I too was having issues using the Homespun yarn for another scarf I was making and I gave up as so hard to see which stitch I needed to work into. I came across your pattern and I absolutely love the colours! Looking forward to trying again, never thought of a bigger hook! Thank you so much for sharing this lovely pattern.
Yay! Thanks!
Thank you. It was a great one day pattern. My 2021 goal is to use up most of my yarn and this helped getting myself closer.
Yay!
Hi! Can you make
This scarf longer? If so how do you increase the beginning chain? I realize it would take more than one skein. Thanks in advance!
Hi! Chain any odd number 🙂
