The Herringbone Double Crochet Stitch is one I like to use often! It creates a zig-zag type look. It’s also has less holes than typical double crochet which makes it a great stitch for garments.

Really enjoy your patterns. Instructions are very clear and easy to follow. So pretty, too.
Thank you so much!!
I love your colors. You mentioned that you bought your yarn. What kind of yarn are you using? I want to copy you since I have no taste in combining colors!
Hi! I’m using Paintbox Aran 🙂
Hello.
I would like to crochet a blanket for my daughter using a variety os stitches like this one but in only one colour.
Can you recommend a pattern please?
Miriam
Hi! You can make this pattern in a solid color 🙂
when attaching the yarn for row 19, is it with the front side facing you or the back side?
Join yarn to the end of row 18. Have row 18 facing you and join yarn to the last stitch. Then ch 2 and turn 🙂
