sc – single crochet
sc blo – single crochet back loop only

· Ear warmer is made as one large rectangle. It is folded and sewn together to create the double brim. Then twisted and the ends are sewn together.

FIRESIDE EAR WARMER CROCHET PATTERN
Ch 31
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from the hook and across (30 sc)
Row 2 – 75: ch 1, turn, sc in first stitch, sc blo in each stitch across to the last stitch, sc in last stitch (30 sc)
Do not fasten off.
SEWING
Fold the rectangle in half lengthwise. Sew both long ends together evenly across using a single crochet.
Fasten off. Leave a long end for sewing.
Then twist it once and bring both short ends together.
Sew the short ends together with whip stitch.
Weave in all the ends.
