Hi Breann, I love your patterns and have made many of them. I would like to make the above pattern but somehow I can’t get the hang of it. I do row 1 fine but when I go to row 2 it’s not looking woven together. Where there were 3 skipped crochets, on row 2 there is a hole. Help!
Thank you so much for your help and your beautiful patterns.

Hi! When making the double crochets in row 2, make sure you’re working into the skipped chains from the foundation chain 🙂
Hi! I’m attempting this pattern and I was also stumped by the same thing the above commenter asked about. So I understand what to do with the first 2 rows, but with the third, am I crocheting the third row to both the bottom rows? Basically, am I working into the stitches if colors A and B with color C? (If that makes sense)
Hi! You will be working row 3 into the stitches from row 1.
Ah thank you! Just row 1, not row 2 as well?
I think I just figured it out! All odd numbered rows (ex: 1,3,5 etc) work into each other, as the even rows work into each other?
So it’s basically 2-ply?
Hi Breann! Me again. I think I’m particularly dense, but is there a video out there of the first 4 rows? That way there’s a visual to go with the written pattern? I think I’ve figured it out, I’m just having difficulty working into the skipped stitches (they might be to tight) and the end of each row with the slip stitch to change colors is a bit tricky for me.
If not, no big. I can figure it out! Thanks for your patience!
