The Braydon Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern is an easy & quick baby blanket. Because of the super bulky yarn and the 1 row repeat, I was able to make it in just a day!
I used Bernat Blanket yarn for this blanket. Any super bulky (6) yarn would work perfectly. But I just love the softness and squishiness of this yarn, especially for a baby blanket. Plus, you can’t beat how quickly it works up!

I LOVE this baby blanket!! What was the yardage on the yarn balls? I’ve found Blanket yarn comes in 87 yards and 220. Thank you so much!
220 🙂
Sorry, one more question, in row 1, do the skipped ch(s) count as a sc, ch1?
Hi! The ch 1 (part of the ch 2 turning ch) at the beginning of the row counts as a sc 🙂 The rest do not.
Ok, perfect, thank you so much!
I love this blanket pattern! Is it safe to use chenille sparkle yarn? I was gifted several skeins. It’s not specifically baby yarn. Thank you!
Hi! Yes, I think that would work 🙂
