H/5.0 mm hook

PART 14 – BORDER
With the blanket right side up, join yarn to a corner of the blanket
Round 1: ch 1, *(sc, ch 2, sc) in corner, sc in each stitch across the squares and in the space between squares (where the squares are joined) working across as evenly as possible to the next corner* repeat from * to * around, join to first sc with sl st
Round 2: ch 2, dc in first stitch, *(dc, ch 2, dc) in ch-2 space, dc in each stitch to ch-2 space* repeat from * to * around, join to first dc with sl st
Round 3: ch 2, fpdc in first stitch, *bpdc in next, fpdc in next* across to ch-2 space, (dc, ch 2, dc) in ch-2 space* repeat from * to * around, alternate fpdc and bpdc in remaining stitches, join to first dc with sl st
Fasten off.
Weave in the ends.
