  1. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this pattern! Its sooo cute and love the drape in the Jeans yarn that i used in teal. PERFECT PATTERN to me.

  2. I dont understand rows 20-23. I know how to do FP and BP but have never done them in the round. Is there a video?

      1. Love this beanie…I only did 16 rows, last 2 rows skipped 2 to decrease.
I did singles to edge it for 2 rows
        Adorable

  3. Thank you for this pattern! I am a little confused with something. For the hats I have made, the pattern at the end of the round usually says to join to the top of the chain with a slip stitch. This pattern says to join at the top of the first double crochet. I just want to make sure I’m doing this correctly. I should go into the regular first double crochet stitch to join, and not to the top of the chain? Thanks!

  4. Thank you for this pattern! Is it okay that the diameter of my hat after row 7 is approximately 8 inches? It should be 7 inches but mine came to 8. I am using Red Heart Soft yarn, but it is still worsted weight. Thanks!

      1. Interestingly enough, I typically crochet SO tight! My yarn says to use a 5.5 mm hook but since I know I have tight tension, I went up to a 5.75 mm. I decided to frog the hat and start over. Think the 5.5 mm will do the trick or should I even go down a little? Thank you!

        1. I think that should work fine. The diameter is an approximation, so if it’s a little bit bigger it should be fine 🙂

  5. I Lowe this pattern so much. Thank you. Any tips for using a thicker yarn? Do I change the hook size? (Major newbie)

  6. I love it thank you so much! I did every four rows some back loop only, and a bit longer. It’s absolutely beautiful, thanks again !

  7. Hi – l love this pattern so far, but even though my stitch count is correct, I have ended up with the measurement of the brim being about 11″

I was right on the 7″ measurement at that point….what do you suggest?

Should I take it apart and add some more decreases?

    thank you!!
